How to Make Restaurant Style Salsa

Darren Heath
When you go to a Mexican restaurant have you ever wanted to know how they make the delicious salsa? It seems like the storebought salsas just don't cut it. In reality, making restaurant style salsa is much easier than you might think. Here's a quick recipe:

Ingredients:

1 can (approx. 16 oz.) whole peeled tomatoes

1 medium-sized white onion

2 cloves garlic

1 lime

1 handful fresh cilantro

Salt and pepper to taste.

Execution:

You can use either a blender or a food processor for this recipe. Combine all the ingredients into the food processor. Chop the onion into fourths, remove the skin from the garlic cloves and make sure to juice the lime. You may need to add more of each ingredient to suit your own taste. Serve with warm tortilla chips!
