1- Sanitation

. Don't let dishes pile up in the kitchen sink. Wash dishes after every meal.
. Place left over food in refrigerator with lids.
. Keep pet food tightly sealed and in containers. Never leave pet food in a pets bowl overnight.
. Empty trashcans regularly.
. Check and clean evaporation pan on refrigerators and freezers.
. Clean up grease between stove and cabinet by pulling the stove out.

. Cockroach traps are a great way to trap and remove roaches from your open. Cockroach traps generally open on both ends and have glue on the floor of the trap that roaches can't crawl off. 4- Insecticides

. Insecticides applied under refrigerators, stoves, sinks, cabinets and other areas they frequently travel will give the best control. Before applying insecticides in cabinets remove dishes and return dishes after the insecticide has dried.

5- Dusts

. Dusts give better control but are harder to use. Boric acid applied around cracks and crevices, under refrigerators and stoves and backs of cabinets will help kill cockroaches. Always apply a thin line never apply in a pile or thick coatings.

6- Exterminator

An exterminator is your best resource for killing cockroaches. If your home shows signs of many cockroaches, you best bet will be to hire an exterminator to come in and spray your home to kill cockroaches.
