Home Remedies for Killing Cockroaches

There is nothing worse than realizing you have cockroaches in your house. You seem them, they see you, and it isn't love at first site. We want them out of our houses and fast! Now, you can use home remedies to kill cockroaches every time. Don't let them take over your house. Kill them before they start building a family. Use our cockroach home remedies and have a cockroach free life.

Cockroaches are insects. Commonly called the American Cockroach, this bug lives all over the world. They can be large bugs so getting rid of them becomes vital when living inside a home. Don't be afraid to be vigilant with your cockroach home remedies. Do spring cleaning as you began to kill the cockroaches to insure that your home is cockroach free. There is nothing better than feeling like your home is clean and free of cockroaches. As always, if you feel the cockroaches have multiplied, don't be afraid to call in extra support with a bug man.

Baking Soda Cockroach Home Remedy

What you need:

Baking Soda

Water

Small containers

Directions:

You need to begin by creating a 50/50 mixture of the baking soda and water. This mixture is an excellent home remedy for cockroaches. Once you have stirred the mixture, add a little of the mixture to each of the small containers and place around the house. These cockroach remedy containers should be placed wherever the cockroaches have been seen. Make sure to keep out of reach of children no matter where you place the baking soda mixture.

Miracle Grow Cockroach Remedy

What you need:

Miracle Grow

Water bottle

Water

Directions:

Sometimes you just want to clean everywhere a cockroach has been seen. In these cases, you might want to dry a Miracle Grow mixture to kill cockroaches. There is something in the Miracle Grow that cockroaches don't like. Be sure to spray walls, cabinets, etc...

Neem Oil Mixture

What you need:

Neem Oil

Water

Water Bottle

Directions:

Neem oil is an effective remedy for many different ailments. When dealing with cockroaches, it isn't as early as spraying on the cockroaches. Will the Neem Oil kill the cockroaches? If you've sprayed a cockroach with Neem oil, yes, you've probably killed the cockroach. Remember that cockroaches breed quickly, so if you've seen one, you probably have more cockroaches in your home. Your best avenue to bait that will kill all the cockroaches rather than just one or two. The Neem oil and water can be mixed together to create an effective cockroach killer. Place the Neem Oil Mixture in strategic places around the house (behind the refrigerator, behind a cabinet, etc...)

Remember, killing cockroaches can be difficult. Bait will kill more than just one so this is always the best method. If you want to make sure your home is clean, the Neem oil is effective around the house as a cockroach home remedy.

Borax Cockroach Home Remedy

What you need:

Borax

Several Potato (Sliced)

Directions:

First you want a slice of a potato. You want the slice to be as thick as possible. Now pour some of the Borax over the potato slice. Once the Borax is added, now place the potato slices behind the refrigerator, in cabinets, etc... Make sure no borax is placed where children will be able to find it. Borax should be ingested so be careful where you place the borax.

Prevention:

It is important to keep your house clean to prevent cockroaches from returning. The cleaner your house is the less likely cockroaches will visit. Make sure all windows and doors are sealed completely. You don't want the cockroaches to have entry to your home.

As soon as you see the cockroaches, clean floors and cabinets immediately. Make sure to dry all areas cleans so there is no wetness.
