How to Get Rid of Dandruff Using Natural Remedies

Dandruff is the flakes that result in a dry scalp. These flakes can show up at the roots of your hair, on your clothes, and on your face, which is something that everyone would rather avoid. Anyone who has ever had trouble getting rid of dandruff will tell you that it's not pleasant. There are various reasons why a person gets dandruff, but once it's there it doesn't really matter why, all that matters is getting rid of it. There are lots of special shampoos and other hair products that are manufactured especially for the purpose of getting rid of dandruff, but those don't work for everyone. If you have tried to shampoos and products and have had no luck, or if you would rather go a more natural route, try these natural remedies for dandruff.

Natural remedy for dandruff #1
To get rid of dandruff using this remedy you'll need apple juice and some warm water. Take 2 tablespoons of apple juice and mix it with 2 tablespoons of warm water. Apply this mixture to the roots of your hair and leave it in for about 15 minutes. When time is up, simply rinse your hair out as you would when washing it. Do this two or three times a week until your dandruff is gone.

Natural remedy for dandruff #2
For this natural remedy for dandruff you will need olive oil and almond oil. Mix a little of olive oil and a little almond oil together (as much as you need to shampoo your hair with). Apply this to your scalp and hair and leave it in for about five minutes. Don't worry if it starts to burn a little that's normal. After five minutes, rinse the mixture out and repeat this process about 2 or 3 times a week until your dandruff is gone.

To get rid of this dandruff with this remedy, you'll need two eggs and water. Take the two eggs and put them in a bowl to beat them. When they are creamy, add 2 tablespoons of water to the eggs and mix it in. Apply this mixture to your wet hair and scalp and leave it in for about 15 minutes. Then rinse it out, you will most likely have to repeat this step a few more days, but it should get rid of your dandruff.

Natural remedy for dandruff #4
For this natural dandruff remedy, all you will need is lime juice. When you are washing your hair, add some lime juice before your last rinse. Not only will this be very helpful in getting rid of dandruff, but it will also leave your hair looking very shiny and beautiful.

Natural remedy for dandruff #5
To get rid of dandruff using this remedy, you will need some apple cider vinegar and water. Make a mixture of apple cider vinegar and water using 1/4 of a cup of each liquid. Apply this mixture to your hair and scalp and wrap a towel around your head. Leave it for twenty minutes then rinse it out and wash your hair. Do this twice a week until your dandruff is all gone.

    Interesting! I enjoyed reading this. I kept thinking that if you combined all the ingredients for all the remedies, and baked at 350F for maybe 20 minutes, you'd have an interesting concoction. :-) Seriously, this is good info to know. Thanks!
