Triple Threat Mosquito Killers Get Rid of Mosquitoes
There are new propane powered machines that pose a triple threat to mosquitoes and are quite effective at removing mosquitoes in a one mile radius. The machines usually run between $150 and $300, plus you will need to purchase refills on the sticky pads and attractants but it is worth every cent when you no longer have mosquitoes. The propane tank usually runs out after a month and a half of continuous use. It is a common size and easy to have refilled.
The machine sends out an attractant that calls the mosquitoes to it. It then has a vacuum that sucks the mosquitoes inside. It is covered with super sticky pads to capture any mosquitoes that try to get away. This is the most effective way to get rid of mosquitoes.
The machine needs to run continuously twenty four hours a day, seven days a week during mosquito season. Set up your machine about one month before mosquito season to make sure that you never have any mosquitoes.
Your neighbors will be happy if you use a propane powered machine to get rid of mosquitoes in your yard because it will take care of the mosquitoes in a square mile and some of them may benefit from it also.
Inexpensive Zappers Get Rid of Mosquitoes
There are bug zappers that are reasonably effective at getting rid of mosquitoes. They are usually under $30 and can attach to your home easily. They do make a loud zap noise when a bug is trapped. They also need to be plugged into an electrical outlet.
You need to get rid of mosquitoes that are hanging around your property even if you do not spend time outdoors very often. Mosquitoes carry deadly germs such as Malaria.
Cheap Citronella Candles Get Rid of Mosquitoes In A Pinch
Although they are not as effective as propane powered mosquito machines, citronella candles work well enough if you are having a bar-be-que or outdoor party and you need something immediately. The smell can be annoying and you will still encounter some mosquitoes.
It is important that you do whatever is necessary to get rid of mosquitoes in your yard due to the health risks. Make sure that you do not have standing water in pools or tubs that goes green and becomes infested with mosquitoes. Many counties issue warnings and then fines to residents that allow their pools to go green.
