Enjoy some good music.
Music is one of the best ways to relax yourself on the way to work. Weather it is r&b, jazz, rap, country or gospel, there is no better way to calm yourself than with music. Playing music can help you totally forget about work. You can also listen to an inspiring song to get you fired up and motivated to try and make it though the day. Relief lots of potential stress by listening to music on the way to work.
Pray or meditate.
This is another great way to get yourself ready for the upcoming day. Turn off your radio, your cell phone and any other distraction and wrap yourself inside a deep prayer. Many studies have shown that people who pray or meditate often are less stressed out. A drive to work is the perfect time to pray and meditate.
Think positive thoughts.
Make a decision to think positive. Tell yourself that your day is going to go well. Tell yourself that you are going to stay calm and that you are going to have a good day. Tell yourself anything positive that will help you to get through the day. You will find that you arrive to work much more relaxed and ready to work.
Visualize.
Picture your day. Create a picture in your mind of everything going well. Picture things running smoothly and picture yourself getting all your work done in a timely and orderly fashion.
Recite scripture or a motivating passage.
Yet another great way to keep yourself motivated using your ride work. Pick out your favorite passage of scripture and memorize it . Say to yourself over and over during your ride. Or, learn some other motivating piece of writing and recite it to yourself. Keep your self calm and encouraged about the upcoming day.
Learn to use you ride to work to keep yourself motivated, happy and peaceful. Use this time to set the tone for what your work day will be.
