How to Save on EBay Listing Fees When Selling a Vehicle

When you go to sell a car on eBay motors they have set fees for many things. There are some ways that you ca get around these fees and still have a great listing. You can save on photo fees, and some upgrade fees if you know the tricks. I have listed several cars on eBay and here is how I learned to save money.

Auctiva is a great place to start for all the bells and whistles for a listing without the additional fees. The templates for auctions can be found at Auctiva for free. You can choose from many different free templates and use them to make your listing look better and more professional. With Auctiva you can choose theme related templates that will go with the item that you are selling.

Also here you can start your auction when you want with no additional fees like eBay would charge you for not immediately starting your auction. With eBay if you add more than 4 photos you will be charged more each additional photo will cost you 15 cents more, Auctiva allows you many photos, and you can decide if you want a show, or supersized photos. There is no additional charge for this feature.

If you choose not to use Auctiva you still can do many of the additional features for eBay cheaper or free. If you want to add more photos without paying for them you can host them somewhere and then just use HTML to add to the listing. Since adding all those links took more time than I wanted to do, what I did was starting a free blog at blogger and uploaded the additional pictures there and added just a link in the auction to get to the blog.

This way I could then add a stat counter and see where the visitors also came from. This way allowed me to have as many photos as I wanted without paying the eBay fees for additional photos. On my blog page I do have a link going back to the eBay auction listing, or you can have the blog open in new windows. Not only can you add more photos, you can also write a description about each photo giving more details.

Adding the other features such as listing upgrades, and little Icons to the listing isn't really necessary, what to do instead of adding the things that cost more is to write a catchy Title. This has been really effective for me.

Listing a vehicle on eBay to sell is a great way to sell it, but you don't have to pay the additional prices to sell your vehicle and have a great listing.
