Coupons - Just about every Pizza Hut, Domino's and the like offer their weekly coupons. You can find them in the local newspaper, at their stores, in your mailbox, and sometimes they even deliver them to your door! Make sure to use these coupons whenever you deliver to save yourself money. Always order a special; never just order a large pizza!
Dining In - Many local pizza restaurants offer lunch specials and family specials which can save a lot of money. Family specials often include free dessert and free drinks. You'll often be able to find a lunch special where you can get a personal pan pizza for just a couple of dollars. You'll also avoid doing any dishes at home, creating a mess on the carpet, and having left over pizza boxes.
Internet Specials - Check online and see if the pizza place you're calling has any specials online. Sometimes they have deals which you can only get online that aren't available through phone-in orders.
Costco - If you have a Costco around, buy their pizza. It's extremely inexpensive and taste great! You can get a lot of ready-made pizza for much less money than you would at a normal pizza shop.
Pick-Up - Pickup your own pizza and avoid having to tip the delivery driver! If you're pizza's just a couple of miles away, go ahead and get it, it's not that much work and it'll save you money. If you live pretty far away from the pizza place, just go ahead and tip the driver, it'll be cheaper than paying for gas both ways.
Take & Bake - There are a lot of stores, such as Papa Murphy's, which allow customers to buy pre-made pizzas and throw them in the oven. They're several steps above frozen pizza's that you'd buy in terms of quality and you can get them for less than you'd pay at a normal pizza chain. Another benefit of getting take and bake pizza is that you can make it on your own schedule and not have to try to time when the pizza guy might show up.
In-Store Specials - If you don't have any coupons, chances are there'll be some specials available when you call in. Ask what the specials are, and if you can get a special that will satisfy the families taste, take it! You'll save a lot of money over just ordering a couple of pizzas and some breadsticks.
