How to Save Money on Sensitive Skin Care Products

Don't waste your money any longer. It took me more than twenty years before I found out how. Now you can learn too in just the time it takes to read this article.

My family has battled with allergies, eczema, and sensitive skin for many years. We've purchased just about every high-priced hypoallergenic product on the market. Some of the products did what they claimed. Others did not. I can't even begin to calculate how much money we've wasted. We've bought unscented, hypoallergenic, all natural, specially formulated soaps, shampoos, body wash and lotions. You name it. We bought it.

Then, one trip to the Dermatologist changed everything. My daughter's expensive shampoo had been discontinued. I tried other brands, but nothing was working. Her scalp was itchy and flaky, and she was miserable. He looked at her head and said, "Have you tried baby shampoo? It's gentle and free of irritants." I left thinking, "That's it. Waiting for an hour in a crowded Doctor's office and all I get is some lousy baby shampoo!"

I went to the store and bought brand name baby shampoo and body wash. The first couple of nights we didn't really notice any difference. Then, a few days later I noticed my daughter wasn't scratching so much. She said her head was starting to feel better. I looked and it was getting better. Maybe that lousy baby shampoo was the answer. We kept using it. It kept improving, not overnight but gradually.

I decided to stock up on unscented baby products. I went to the store, but all they had in the name brand were lavender scented. I didn't dare to try those. So, I went for the generic . It only costs about one-third of the price. Guess what. It worked just as well. I couldn't believe how much money I was going to save. I bought the shampoo, the conditioner, the soap, the body wash and even the hair detangler. They all worked great. Now, that's all my family uses. I will never buy those ridiculously high-priced skin care products again!

This really changed my life. I always thought high-priced and brand name were always the best. Now, I've even switched my laundry detergent. I bought Arm and Hammer For Sensitive Skin. It's cheap and it works. Stop and Shop even carries a generic free and clear dryer sheet. Last week they were on sale for a dollar a box! My skin has never felt better, and no one in the house is itchy and complaining. I always try to have an open mind now when I'm shopping. I check out the generic products first. I Know you're probably doubting that this actually works, but it does. I get angry thinking of all the money I've thrown away over the last twenty years or more. Never again will I have a closed mind to trying new products especially if they're cheap.
