Do you ever wish you can save a lot of money? "I know I have," and I have a few ideas that can help save you some money in the future too. It's really challenging, but it can be done with a desire to save money. With, Social Security being so cruel to our elders, I think we have no choice, but to save all the money we can today.

First, you can start by knowing how much your checks are and how much you bring home on a weekly basis. Just, worry about the net, not the gross. Because, you want to know how much you are actually bringing home to the table every week. Now, get a regular calculator and a notebook spiral and let the process begin.

Second, you can start out by canceling all your credit cards, because I have had them and they are nothing but evil. Okay, now you have to promise not to over draft your checking account, by writing checks or using your Visa Check Card. And, try to get all these credit cards paid off as soon as possible, even if you have to work some overtime at work.

Third, now on that notebook spiral add up all the money you plan to spend for that week, after you get all your bills paid for. And, having a car note is also not a good idea. Now, it's better to split your money into change instead of twenty dollar bills, because it's easier not to spend it fast that way.

Fourth, for lunch it's better to cook, than order out or eat out, because that fast food is not healthy for you anyways. And, if you do eat out just get something cheap at the dollar store, and eat it on the run, "if you got to go back to work."

Fifth, when it comes to fuel expenses, make sure your car is economic and you only drive to work and back, "not to the store or the mall." And, make sure your oil is changed in your car, and it has a complete tune-up because that will only save you gas.
