We humans tend to get lazy, counting on cars to take us to our destination. What about the time when they didn't have cars or other transportation devices? They simply had to walk or ride on animal backs to get to their destination. Most would prefer to walk.
Walking is a great source of exercise even though it means getting to a destination slower. Walking does not have an impact on polluting the environment like transportation vehicles do. When we come up with an invention, we use it. When we encounter a problem, we try to fix it. Some ways are to car pool to work or to school. Most would just consider walking. The pollution is actually not caused by who we used cars or buses daily but the people that constructed building and roads.
You might be a bit confused by how it is, but actually it is true. Driving or riding the bus is the only way we can earn the quality money we need to survive. It would in fact take hours to get to work and earn money. We are all doing this to support ourselves and our family. Those construction workers should be taking the blame. If they build everything closer, we would never encounter this problem.
The only reason why we use these transportation devices are actually mandatory in this case. If in a town we have everything we need really close by, we would rarely ever consider using cars as to transport. The only time we would use is probably for groceries or moving heavy objects. If only this was thought of earlier, we would have never gotten in a mess like this.
The only vehicles we would see outside are garbage trucks and cars for those who are handicapped or old age. The pollution would reduce by a considerable amount. Although it is too late to change it now, but we still stand a chance to change. It make take years but once this is done, we will have a lot less to worry about.
