How to Save Money on Your Trash Bill This Year and Go Green!

With all the pollution now days and bad economy it is time to take a stand and at least do your little part. At least try to recycle your cans and bottles and plastics and old news papers. This will help you save so much money in the long run and help the planet. It really don't take all that much effort there is many communities bonding together and they will help you if you look for that help.

Contact your local chamber of commerce and get phone number's of different place's you can recycle your trash or even just pick up the phone. I know a lot of community's of large recycle dumpster's setup down town for all your bottle's can's plastics and paper. You just have to find where they are located and peruse that option. Next thing I would also consider doing is fire your trash man! Yep I said it fire him there is no need for him once you decide to do all the recycling your self take the left over trash to your local land fill of course you will need a trailer to put the trash on our a pickup truck but you will save so much money in the long run. Imagine only paying maybe 10 to 20 dollars to get your trash taken out for the whole month possibly even cheaper depending on how much you recycle.

One thing you always need to make sure of is not to have water in your trash can's while taken them to the dump, My brother made this mistake and they charged him quite a bit of money considering they charge you usually how much your trashed weighed and if 60% of it was water now you owe them some big money. Also if you are throwing away objects that could be useful to some one do your self a favor and put a free sign on it and set it out by the curb or in your yard. Before you know it the item will be gone! You would be amazed on some of the thing's people will pickup or collect or be in need of such as Monitors, Old Computers, Microwaves, TV's, VCR's, Bicycles, old parts or even scrap metal people will take it all. You might not believe me but just try it and see you would be amazed.

Or better yet instead of throwing them out or putting one sign on an object just throw a free yard sale! These are getting more and more popular now days and is a easy great way to get rid of stuff that you would of just thrown out in the trash. Another thing I heard some people do is take your trash and make them into useful things around the house or just decorative things. I really am not good at that kind of stuff but i am sure it would save you money each month specially if your not having to throw it away and it's your own form of self recycling.

I think that's about all the idea's I have I have put many of them to use and trust me it really does help each month not putting out all that cash just to get my trash taken away and you will feel good about it in the end cause your hopefully helping save the planet. Take care God Bless
