Prague is the least expensive city in Europe. Though this city is inexpensive, the prices in European cities always make people from America gasp. The prices are high in Europe and a tourist doesn't necessarily know about this. This makes a tourist feel robbed after a vacation. To avoid this situation, one should make a perfect planning and one can save a good amount of money in that way.

Some very important things to be looked at when you are going to Prague are

# Book your flight tickets at least a month before to reduce the flight fares which are less if you book earlier.

# Prefer indirect flights to direct flights. You won't be charged much in the former case which is possible in the latter case.

# Once you are in Prague, you have to thin of accommodation. But it is advised to book the tickets to the hotel one week earlier, at least. You can do this from your place with the help of web search. This saves you money besides giving you idea about different hotels in Prague.

# Check in the rooms which are in upper floors as the rents for them are less when compared to those of lower floors.

# Check the amenities at the hotel before booking it and check if the amenities include breakfast as the breakfast is costlier outside in Prague.

# If there is breakfast option, have a heavy breakfast and have lighter lunch in the afternoon.

# If there is no breakfast option, go to a near bakery and have a sandwich and a donut. This makes you check out the local areas.

# For lunch, prefer going to wine bars which surprisingly offer meals too in Europe. But never sit and eat as they charge for the service. Instead you can take it to your hotel and eat.

# Have a pizza slice or sandwich from a local grocery for your dinner. You will get a feeling that you have explored the places in Prague.

# When going out, always prefer walking over anything. Prague is reputed to be very 'walkable' city. One can see old and new city on foot. Further, you will have a feeling that you have seen more of Prague.

# If you have to go for distant places, prefer public transportation to taxis and cars as they are safe besides saving few bucks.

# Get a bus pass and you can roam around the city for a couple of days with a minimal price which is really great.

# If you have to travel by train check the train timings and prices on the web and choose the best which matches your need well.

# If you have to travel by taxi prefer getting in a taxi on road rather than calling a taxi service and booking it.

# Negotiate with the drivers as they ask for more from the tourists. Insist on turning the meter on as many taxi drivers in Prague try to cheat the passengers without turning the meter on and charging more money.

# Most museums and public galleries are free and you don't need to worry about them. Go to as many museums as you can and check every thing there.

These are the all ways in which you can save few bucks when you visit Prague. Follow as many things as you can to save more money.
