How to Save Money Wisely

Many of us are the working poor, others are struggling to get out of debt, and some are just looking for ways to make an extra cash to use it for something worthwhile. The solution to our problem is right before our eyes, right in our bank accounts.

I know what you are thinking, there isn't hardly any money in my bank account. But there is, it's all in how you use your money. If you save wisely you can have extra money after each day, week, month and year. It's easy, all you have to do is budget, and save the right way.

The first thing you and or your mate need to do is sit down together and create a budget for the week, month, day and year. How much do you want to spend on food, or on buying miscellaneous items a week? Once you set the budget and use it for a week or so look for ways you can make it tighter if possible.

Now remember part of saving money involves sacrificing. Sometimes in life you have to give to get. If you want good things you have to work to get good things. Which means you have to give up some of the things you want. With your family make a list of the things you need and you don't need. Like this below:

Food - Dining Out on Restaurants
Clothes - Name Brand Clothes

Family participation is very vital if this is going to work. Let everyone decide what they can give up that they don't need and in the end you or and your husband will be the one to make the decision of what's going to be cut out. Stress to everyone why their cooperation is needed and the benefits of a self sacrificing spirit.

Become a savvy shopper. Look for deals and bargains when your grocery and clothes shopping. You can cut out the coupons in the Sunday newspaper and keep posted on the latest sales in the stores you regularly shop in. Shop at wholesale stores like Cost Co and BJ's. These places sales good in a quantity at discount prices. Shopping online is cheaper keep that in mind too. Stuff you can usually

Next find ways to cut down the cost of your bills like, instead of going with a expensive cable service, find a cheaper one. So find ways you can cut down the costs of the basic services you use like your phone, cable and internet service. There's several other companies that are cheaper to use. Go with reduced insurance for your home and car.

Then everyone knows that gas prices has went up over the months, it costs a whole lot of money to fill up half of our gas tanks let alone the whole thing. Why not consider public transportation some weeks or certain days out of the week. Or instead of driving to work if it's not to far you can walk there, if you take your children to schools you can have them walk to school. Not only do you save gas money but your also getting good exercise.

Most important make saving money a habit, not something you feel you have to do. When you have that attitude you will feel deprived and which will lead to you being tempted to spend up the money you have worked so hard to save. Once it becomes a habit you can always have money in that bank account of yours.

Having extra money in your bank account can be easy to attain. All you have to do is be committed to it and willing to make sacrifices. You can do it!
