Whatever the conditions maybe, but ultimately they are unable to stop smoking and finally give in. Psychologically speaking, this is the worst kind of defeat a person have to accept. The are not able to control their intentions and have a weak will power leading to such problems and ultimately resulting into stress and depression.
Then is there not a single ray of hope for them. Or more specifically is there is no hope for 'YOU'? As it is clear that you must be one if you have taken the time to read to this line. Fortunately, the answer is YES. There is hope. But let me warn you, the path is not simple. Victory is guaranteed. This way is not a quick-fix to the problem like having chewing gum in your pockets and have one while you feel the urge for a cigarette. In those quick-fixes, the underlying psychology is unaltered and you will not be able to succeed in the long run.
Ok, so here is the solution. But warning first: You will have to be more strict with your culprit mind than you were to this day. The very first failure will most probably with the worst failure and you will not be able to continue as this will directly affect your will power. This is a long term process so do not think of quitting cigarettes the very first day. Just reduce the number. If you were smoking 6 cigarettes a day, reduce it to 4. When you smoke the third cigarette, remind your mind that now it should not disturb you till the end of the day as you have already had enough for the day and the last cigarette will be awarded to it at the end of day ONLY if it agrees to your conditions. That is, just speak these words and it will work wonder: "Now you had the third cigarette and we have set limit of four. So here is the deal. If you allow me to work with full concentration without you urging me to smoke then we will together enjoy the fourth cigarette at the end of the day. If you fail to do so then we will have to forgo that fourth cigarette."
These are simple words but will work like wonder. Just give it a try and you will be amazed with the results. Now follow this schedule everyday for a week and the results: You had 14 cigarettes less than the previous week! What another favor can you do to you body? But follow it strictly. It wont be a easy process for the first week but then you will get used to it and once you do that go on reducing your daily quota. That is all you are required to do for a heatly and longer life.
