How to Search the Internet the Right Way: Don't Waste Your Time with One Single Keyword!

V. L. Hamlin
Searching the internet can be very daunting for those who don't know what they are doing. Especially when you use a large search engine, like Yahoo or Google. You think you are looking for once specific thing but every time you search you receive thousands and thousands of search results and not one of them is what you want or you have to search through hundreds of pages before you finally do find the link that you were looking for.

The steps to success in your internet search are so easy to follow, you'll have found what you are looking for in no time!

Step One: Know what you are looking for.

If you know you want to buy a green sweater, but you aren't sure where you plan to buy it, don't search for "sweater". Search for "green sweater" and better yet search for "green sweater medium women's". Or Even better search for "green sweater medium women's v-neck cotton". By adding the color, size, style and gender of the sweater you are looking for, you will find stores that offer green cotton v-neck sweater's in a medium size for women.

Step Two: Ask A Question!

Literally type in a question into your search bar! Go back to that green sweater. Ask you search bar "Where is the best place to buy a green sweater?" or "Where can I find a green sweater?". By asking a question you will not only get results for what you are looking for, but you also get results for other people having asked the same question, that helps because it often will have answers to your question! You'll find fast results for anything you search for this way.

Step Three: Search Sentences

Rather than searching by a single keyword, search in sentences or partial sentences. So, if you want to search for a family vacation discount at Disney, don't search for Disney vacation. Search for family vacation discount at Disney or discount family Disney vacation.

Search Engines search content, so by using these steps you are more likely to pick up keywords inside the website that aren't usually searched for. The point is to use as many important keywords as possible in your search, this will help the search engine narrow down your search to only the results you want to see.
