How to Seduce a Vampire

Normally it is the vampire that seduces it's human prey in order to get a meal, or a kill. But sometimes we humans like to walk on the wild side and we find ourselves smitten with the children of the night. Buffy did it, Sookie did it and even Bella did it. For most people it isn't too hard to seduce a vampire, but you'll want to make sure your seduction doesn't lead to your own demise. It would be wise to wear a crucifix and keep a vile of Holy water handy while you are making your moves on the undead.

Your Smell

Sometimes it is just your natural smell that can attract vampires to you. If you notice that vampires always seem to be drawn to you it may be because you smell, well, tasty to them. You can use this to your advantage when seducing your vampire lover. Don't mask your own natural scent with perfumes or lotions. Skip your shower that day. Hey, scent as an attractor worked for both Bella Swan and Sookie Stackhouse, it just might work for you! But then, the smell of both these ladies made vampires want to drain them, so be careful.

Your Look

Vampires tend to go for people that look like past loves. Dracula wanted Mina because she looked like his long lost love. Both Damon and Stefan Salvatore, from 'The Vampire Diaries' television series, found themselves attracted to Elena because she looked like their maker, Katherine. Find out who your vampire's one true love was, or who their maker was, and try to make yourself look like them. Hopefully they don't have any hate or resented towards this former lover. If they do, imitating them may cause you to wind up drained.

Your Attitude

Be in need of saving. Vampires seem to like a "damsel in distress." Sookie was always needing to be saved by Bill. Bella is always needing to be saved by Edward Cullen, her vampire lover. They like to save you, so need some saving.

But then again, the vampire guys had a thing for Buffy too. Both Angel and Spike fell for the person who was meant to kill them.

Even guys want to seduce the female vampire once in a while. Michael, in 'The Lost Boys', fell for the vampire Star. He even found himself being turned into a vampire just to be near her.

So, whether you are a man or a woman, you just need to reflect what the vampire is looking for in order to seduce them, and be willing to give up a little blood every once in a while!
