How to Send Out Christmas Cards for a Fraction of the Cost

All the Holiday Cheer, Without All the Holiday Hassle

Stormy Rayne
The holiday season generally has people dashing off to the store to purchase greeting cards to send out season's greetings to friends and family both near and afar. I love wishing happiness and good cheer through Christmas cards as much as anyone does, but financial strains this year left me searching for an alternative.

Let's face it, nearly every family across America has felt the strains of the economy in some way and have been forced to cut the household spending wherever possible. I fear that because of all the lost jobs and cut hours there will be a large cut in paper greeting cards this year.

Nearly everyone is aware of the scores of E Card sites across the web and many may be considering the less personal option of using them for Christmas cards. In the case of important holidays I didn't want to go this route, it just doesn't feel the same as sending/receiving a "real paper" card.

I have found an alternative to conventional Christmas cards that doesn't cut out your option for a personal greeting, yet still cuts the costs involved drastically. I wanted to share my findings with as many people as possible in light of the tough times, It is my hope that this will help someone stay in touch without breaking the bank.

What I found that has me spreading the news so joyfully is a service that will allow you to send out quality cards that are comparable to hallmark with little hassle. You can create a free account online and send one of these cards for less than $1 and that my friends, includes your postage! They offer many personalization options including the ability to upload your own handwriting, photo's, graphics...You can create virtually anything you can dream up and from creation to destination you never have to leave your home.

You are going to be amazed at the many pre made cards you can choose from and customize to suit your needs. The part that amazes me the most is how easy and inexpensive the process is. Think about this... Whenever the need for a greeting card arises you get in your car and use gas to get to the nearest store that sells cards, spend time finding one that says it all perfectly, after driving home you fill in the card and put a stamp (postage costs are rising rapidly as well) on it to be placed in the mailbox. The whole arduous process, although worth it, can end up costing as much as $10 by the time you get it to the destination.

I nearly forgot to mention that if you have to go to the post office this time of year it can turn into an all day event, sending cards this way means letting someone else worry about postage stamps!

We have all done this a million times, most of all around the holidays. Not this year, in light of financial crisis I have cut my list down to a few less cards than normal and will be using this new method I found. I can't think of an easier or more personal way to show you care, even more personal than traditional store bought cards. At the price they offer this service for I will be using it year round!

I'm certain that by now you are going crazy waiting for me to share the web site with you, I think you have indeed suffered enough. Opening the site through the link I am sharing with you will offer you a special treat as well; you will be able to create your first card for free.

If you are skeptical I would suggest sending that first card to yourself or someone in your home so that you can see the quality greetings you will be sending out. This is what I did, I am always skeptical of things that sound too good. Low and behold the cards are beautiful, it has changed the way I will send out cards all year!

Enough torture... To get your free account/free card and start greeting friends, family, and co workers just CLICK HERE.

This link will take you to the Send out cards site that I used. While I don't own this site, or gain anything financially, I gain the good feeling of sharing something I found. Using it a few times has made me consider buying into it as a business venture but for now I just use the service. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have!

Good thinking! After all, the honesty of the greeting is not more substantive with the increased price of the card!... Though Hallmark might hope that we felt otherwise.
