When your LG Xenon can't quite capture the photo you desire, you can always use an existing picture on your desktop, taken with your higher quality digital camera, as your phone's wallpaper. Or you may want to use an image downloaded from the internet or your email account. Either way, transferring pictures back and forth between your computer and your cell phone without a data cable is relatively easy to do using your SD card reader on your computer.

Things You'll Need:

microSD to SD adapter - or - microSD reader

How to Send Pictures from PC to LG Xenon Phone Without Data Cable

If your PC has an SD card or a microSD card reader, you can copy your pictures directly from your computer. To do so, remove your microSD card from the microSD port on your LG Xenon. You may need a paperclip or jeweler's flat head screwdriver to open the slot cover door and remove the microSD card. Take care not to damage the card while removing it from your phone. Insert directly into your PC, if you have a microSD reader. Otherwise, you will need to insert it into a microSD to SD adapter. Once inserted, navigate to the location of the picture you want to transfer.

Drag or copy the picture(s) you desire to the "Graphics" folder on your microSD card's directory. Once all photos have been transferred, navigate to the "My Computer" view in Windows Explorer. Then right click on your microSD card and select "Eject."

Insert the card into your phone. From the main menu on your LG Xenon, select the "Applications" button in the lower right-hand corner (it is the square blue button with four dots on it). Select the "Folder" tab and then click on the "Pictures" icon. Your photo will be contained here. Once a picture is selected, there are many things you can do with it using the icons on the right-hand side of the screen, such as sending the picture via text message, Bluetooth or to Snapfish, or using it as wallpaper or a custom picture ID for a caller.

If you plan to transfer pictures frequently, consider purchasing a data cable, which will save you time and effort and reduce the risk of damaging your SD card or microSD card slot on your LG Xenon.
