How to Send Pictures to a Verizon Wireless Cell Phone

Modern technology makes it easy to send pictures to a Verizon Wireless cell phone. Whether you want to send the picture to someone else, or to your own personal cell phone, it only takes a few minutes to complete the process.

Send a Picture Message From Your Cell Phone

Choose the picture you want to send to the Verizon phone and click "View" or "Ok." Next, select "Options" and then hit "Send" and enter the recipient's cell phone number. Once you enter the appropriate mobile number hit "Ok" and then "Send." Your picture will now be sent to the Verizon mobile phone as you requested. Please note this process may slightly vary depending on the type of cell phone you have.

Email a Picture From Your Computer

Find the picture you want to send to the Verizon cell phone. Go to your email provider's website and sign in to your account. Click on the "New" or "Compose Mail" link to compose a new message. Attach the picture to the email and type the recipient's 10-digit Verizon Wireless mobile number for their email address, followed by "@" and the letters "vzwpix.com" (For example, 1112223333@vzwpix.com) and hit "Send."

Confirm That the Picture was Sent Successfully

If you sent the picture from your computer to your Verizon phone, simply check your phone to see if the picture is in your inbox. If you sent the picture to someone else's cell phone, either wait for that person to reply, or contact him to find out if he received the picture. It may take a few minutes for that person to receive the picture. If he has not received the picture within 30 minutes, send the picture again.

Tips

If the picture is on your digital camera, connect the camera to your computer via a cable (there should be a cable inside the box that the camera was packaged in). Refer to your digital camera user manual and follow the instructions for connecting the cable to the computer.
