1 ounce Glycerine
3 drops lavender essential oil (Has relaxing and calming qualities)
Directions - Before the bar soap can be made into bubble bath it must be converted to a liquid. To do this, grate the bar of soap into the quart of water. Warm water will help dissolve the soap faster. Allow the soap and water to mix well until you have a liquid soap solution. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour the solution into a container with a lid.
To use, pour a generous amount under the running water while filling the tub. Lay back and indulge yourself in relaxation!
Citrus Bath Bar
8 ounces of unscented glycerine soap
2/3 cups of dried oats
1 tbsp fine grated lemon peel
1 tbsp fine grated orange peel
3 drops of grapefruit fragrance oil
2 drops of bergamot fragrance oil
2 teaspoons of honey
2 drops of yellow food coloring
Directions - Place the glycerine soap in a small sauce pan over low heat and melt it down until it turns to liquid. In the mean time put the oats in a food processor and grind until they become a fine powder. When the glycerine is melted down remove it from heat and stir in the oats, honey and grated orange and lemon peels. Once mixed, stir in the remaining ingredients. Pour the soap into molds. You can use the bottom of an old milk carton or cup cake tin lined with wax paper or plastic wrap. This will make removal easier when the soap is hardened. The soap must harden for over three to five hours. This citrus scent soap is very uplifting.
