How to Set Up AdSense Channels and Make More Money on Xomba

Allison West
For a long time now, I've been hearing members of Xomba talk about the importance of setting up AdSense channels, but something inside me resisted doing so. I didn't really understand how to set up AdSense channels to track my individual Xomblurbs and Xombytes on Xomba, and the process seemed a bit time consuming. I thought my time was better spent adding content to Xomba instead of tracking channels, but I couldn't have been more wrong!

After a few days of higher earnings on Xomba, I was curious what caused these increased revenues, so I decided to investigate setting Google AdSense channels. The process of working with AdSense channels is so quick and easy, I wish I had done it a whole lot sooner. To create channels for your Xombytes and Xomblurbs, log into your Google AdSense account and go to "AdSense Setup" and then go to "Channels."

In the Channels section of AdSense, you can read some helpful information about setting and using AdSense channels, and you can set custom channels and URL channels. For the purposes of tracking Xomba articles and blurbs, you'll want to go to "URL channels," which will display a list of your existing channels. Click "Add new URL channels" to add more channels to the list of URLs you are tracking.

If you'd like to set a channel for a Xomblurb or Xombyte, simply copy and paste the URL you'd like to make a channel for into the "URLs to track" box, and hit the "Add" button. Setting AdSense channels for your Xomba work opens up a whole new world of information about what bytes or blurbs on Xomba are more profitable than others. Each individual AdSense "channel" you create gives detailed information about the number of clicks and earnings generated from that individual URL.

AdSense lets you know how many channels you currently have available, for a total of 200 URL channels displaying in my account. I recently used up all of my 200 channels, and my account says that I have used up all the available channels and there are zero channels available, so at this time, there is definitely a limit of 200 channels.

Each time I create a Xombyte or Xomblurb, I'm immediately going to create a channel for it. It's important to create channels as soon as possible, because AdSense tracks the channels from the moment you create them. I'll only be able to see how those older Xomba URLs I've set AdSense channels for are performing for me today and into the future, but I think the information will still be very valuable.

I plan to watch some URLS I've set channels for to see how they are performing, and as I run out of channels, I'll delete some and add newer ones. I feel that tracking AdSense channels is going to give me a much clearer picture of what kind of Xombytes and Xomblurbs are more profitable than others, and this will guide me when I write for Xomba. If you haven't explored AdSense channels, definitely check them out. In my experience, the time spent setting up AdSense channels is definitely well spent and can help you zero in on what kinds of topics will increase your Xomba earnings.

Thanks for your free information on setting up channels. I paid someone to set mine up for me and it was very costly. I will bookmark this article for later use. Thanks for sharing.
