How to Set Up Your Free Myspace Account

You have heard about the popular MySpace and you may be wondering okay where do I begin if I want to make my own profile? Here is a step by step guide on how to setup a MySpace account if you are a new user.

First you need to make sure you have your internet connected and type in the address

http://www.myspace.com or if you want to search for it you can type in MySpace in the search engine. Once you are at the webpage you will see a sign in page where you can sign in if you are already a member but what you want to do as a new user to MySpace that does not already have an account is click the sign up tab.

Once you click the sign up tab it will take you to a page where you enter in information such as your email address, name, country you reside in and your gender once you are finished entering in that information you will have to type in a security code at the bottom of the page then click continues.

The next page will then appear on this page it will say upload photo. If you have a photo of you that you located in your documents on your computer click the browse button. Browse your files until you find the picture you are wanting then click upload, or if you wish you can skip the upload process and continue to the next step.

The next step is to find your friends you can type in your password to your email and it will browse your friends and you can add or invite them and just like the step above if you wish to does it later you can click skip this step at the bottom of the page.

You will then see your actual profile where you can check your mail, but before you can send or receive emails on your profile you have to confirm your email address. The way you confirm your email address on MySpace is by going to your inbox on your account where you receive emails such as yahoo, hotmail, AOL you will have received an email from Tom from MySpace while you were setting up your account. In this message it request you click on the link provided once you click on it another MySpace screen will appear stating that you have verified your email address
