How to Get Sexy Lady Gaga Eyes Without Contact Lenses

Not all of us are blessed with the perfect features of a movie star. But with a few easy makeup tips and a little creativity, any glamorous look is possible for almost anyone. Getting enough sleep is not all that is takes to make your eyes look wide and awake. Those of us with smaller and less defined eyes are constantly searching for ways to give the eyes a more expressive look. Large looking eyes, like in the Diva pop star, Lady Gaga's video "Bad Romance" are now the latest trend because they give a highly exotic appeal. But follow these makeup tips and you don't have to subject your eyes to possible damage by contact lenses as well as pay outrageous amounts of money to look like Lady Gaga.

Too much eyeliner can be a bad thing, and you find yourself looking more like a clown or a cartoon character. Eyeliner should primarily be focused on the top lid of the eye. Start at the inner corner of your upper eyelid and draw a thin line that extends all the way out to the end of the eyelashes. Eyeliner can be applied thicker starting at the beginning of the iris, continue to build the line up as thick as you like. Line the entire bottom of the eyelid very thinly and as close to the eye as you can get it, starting midway gradually thicken the line going toward the outer part of your eye and extend it a bit past your eye to create an even larger and sexy tiger-eye effect.

Eyeshadow can also be used to create a dramatic eye popping effect, and can also be used in the same way as eyeliner. Using an eyeshadow or makeup with a darker shade of color that is complimentary to your skin, line the inner crease of your eyes and leave the rest as light and bright as possible. Use black or a platinum color for an even more dramatic evening look. Go over the exposed eyelid above and below with a sparkling white or ivory to really bring those Lady Gaga eyes to life, making sure to continue to the crease where your eye meets the bridge of your nose.

Eyelashes can be the most dramatic way to create the trendy and sexy look of Lady Gaga without subjecting your eyes to the damaging effects of contact lenses. When choosing eyelashes for this look, always remember - bigger is better. Make sure that the eyelashes you choose to complete your Lady Gaga look include an adhesive. Almost every type of false eyelash must be applied with some kind of eyelash glue. If the glue is not included with your lashes, it can be purchased separately for just a few dollars more. Most false eyelashes will have to be cut to fit individually, so after applying your costume lashes, use a liquid eyeliner to blend in the lines of the lashes so that everything appears flawless and smooth. Trendy makeup is not always expensive - false eyelashes are now even sold at most Dollar Stores and Walmart for $2 to $5.

There will always be a new trend right around the corner, but safety should never be compromised for the sake of beauty. There are always simple makeup tricks that can give the same glamorous looks as any movie star, but you don't have to go as far as they do. The look of Hollywood is its life, so Hollywood is willing to make more of a sacrifice to sparkle than most should.
