If you are interested in the teacher's card, there are some interesting things you need to know. First you will earn $10 for every $75 you spend on qualifying purchases. You can earn up to $100 each year through that. Everything is a qualifying purchase except for computers, gift cards, and taxes, purchases made before you had the card, purchases with a Retail Connect card, and purchases made with the rewards card that you will receive from them. Every quarter you will receive a rewards gift card from them to use on more purchases in the store, but you cannot earn more rewards for using it. The rewards cards do expire 90 days after they are issued, so you will need to use them within that time frame. You will also receive an extra 2% on purchases of ink and toner. So you will rack up the earnings even quicker. You can also earn up to $300 per month if you take part in the toner and ink cartridge recycling program. You can make $30 a week if you bring in 10 cartridges a week. They must meet their requirements, such as they only accept HP, Dell, and Lexmark Toners. You can look here for more information on the recycling program.
If you are interested in the Business card instead there is still some information you need to know. You will earn $25 for every $500 you spend on qualifying purchases. There is no limit on how much you can earn! The qualifying items are the same for this card as they are for the teacher's card. The rewards card that is issued to you will also expire in 90 days from the date of issuance. You can still participate in the recycling program too, and you are limited to $300 a month on that too.
If you make a lot of purchases the business card is probably right for you, but if you make fewer purchases you will want to sign up for the teachers card. To sign up for either you can go here. You will be taken to a page where you will choose the card you want. You will need to enter a valid email address, a password of your choice, and a security questions and answer. You will then click next.
Depending on which card you are signing up for, you will either be entering the address and name of the school you work for or the business name and address. You will need to click that you agree to the terms and conditions. You can then click next. You will be taken to the preference page where you can select a store you will be using, and also sign up for email offers. You will then click finish. You can print out the card now and start earning rewards, but they will also be sending you a welcome kit in the mail. Congratulations you have just signed up for a great program.
