If you are having a water theme for your wedding or your wedding colors include aqua, this would be the perfect centerpiece idea for your wedding reception tables. You could also substitute other colors in to match your wedding colors, if aqua doesn't work for you. Here is how to create your aqua wedding centerpiece.

ITEMS YOU WILL NEED:

First you will need a short about 2 inch tall wide bowl, about 7 to 9 inches across for your aqua centerpiece. The bowl should be clear glass and could be square if you would like. Next, you will need aqua colored stones or marbles.

Finally, you will need three pillar candles, per centerpiece. The three candles should be different heights. For instance, one should be 5 inches tall, the next should be 7 inches tall, and the last should be about 9 inches tall, they simply all need to be different. The candles should also be white, for the best display.

CREATE YOUR AQUA CENTERPIECE:

You can make as many or as few of these centerpieces as you need for your tables. First, you will need to arrange the pillar candles in the shallow 2 inch glass bowl how you want them. Since they are different heights you could put the tallest in the middle with the shorter ones on each side, in somewhat of a triangle formation.

Once you have the candles where you want them, you could glue them down into the dish for saftey, especially if you are going to lighting them, so that people cannot remove them.

Finally, the last step that you need to do is simply fill the bottom of the dish around the candles with the aqua stones or marbles. This makes a very simple yet stunning centerpiece for you wedding reception tables. Again, you could use pink or red or any other colored stones or marbles to make this centerpiece match your wedding decor if you would like.
