Nothing can top off a romantic date like a song. Whether you take singing serious or enjoy the fun side, either way can be molded into a cute, sweet song that will sweep your lover off her feet. Here is what you can do to perfect this romantic date idea.

Have your song have a point. Don't be wishy-washy. Make a point. If you want to sing to her about how much you love her, sing about that. Do not branch off into random topics. For the song to hit home, your song should be straight to the topic. Be focus on what you want to say, because if you ramble, you will begin to lose your edge. True, the lyrics don't have to live up to the standards of those trying to make millions of dollars. Still, your song should be cohesive with points that your partner can easy see and feel.

Confidence. Alright, not all of us can sing. Matter of fact, the majority of people can't. If you were blessed with the gift of an amazing voice, you don't have to struggle. When you are like me, though, every note can be a wrong note. Don't worry. Your output will be judged mostly on how you approach this situation. If you sing to her with confidence, knowing that you are not sounding well, you will impress her with your confidence and your sense of humor.

Delivery. To go along with the confidence, the way you perform for her can dictate how well it goes. If you go about this shyly, avoiding eye contact, and not being bold with this, your song will not drive its point home. Be strong. If this is something you want to give to her, and then go all out. Hang in there when the going gets tough. The hardest part will be starting, but remain calm and perform well. Staying strong will only make her realize that, by you being willing to do this, you really love her and are willing to do this for her.

Create a romantic setting. When performing a romantic song for your loved one, the song should be the cherry to their ice cream. Set up a few date ideas, with the song being something to end the night. Being in a romantic setting can make any song improve. Don't be in a public place, as this should be a private affair. This performance should be something that your lover should feel as a personal, thoughtful act that only she gets the priviledge of hearing your work for her.

Be creative. Don't be afraid to stick a couple lines that are unique and only your loved one would understand. Use background music or a setting that means something. Do something with your song that can push it over the top. Don't write a bland love song that you can use on another girl. If you rhyme, try rhyming with your partner's name. Another idea is writing about certain characteristics that your partner possesses. Make your song for only one person in the world.

Have no stress. Have fun! This should be a growing process that you can learn from. Stressing will only put unnecessary pressure on you. Let all the pressure off of your shoulders once you start singing. When performing, try having a smile on your face and carry an attitude that shows you are having a good time. If you have to struggle through it, then don't. Your partner should realize that you wanted to do this and enjoyed it.

Use what you have. If you were to forget a line, don't worry. Simple say a romantic line why. For example, if you blank out on a verse, look your partner in the eyes and say that because they looked so beautiful, you simply forgot what you were going to say. Be playful with this. If you want, pause between verses to say something. Remarking on topics, such as saying 'You should pay attention to this next line. I find it romantic'. This will not only take pressure off her, it will create a relaxed mood that can make the song more romantic.

Using these tips won't guarantee you the next chart toping single. What these will do is help you, if you were to every have an urge to write a song for your loved one. Remember, stay relaxed, stay focus, and remember that this song should be all about her.
