How to Get Soft Hair Bizarre and Interesting Ways!

Alyn Davies

Everyone want soft shiny manageable hair so how do we achieve this? Everyone you speak to has different ideas and it is hard to say with so many different hair types and styles out there. I have heard people use mayonnaise and then putting a plastic bag on their hair to make it softer I cant say I have honestly tried that one myself, but I have to say I don't think it is the mayonnaise more the condensation created from the heat of the head causing hair follicles to open causing the condensation to moisturize the hair leaving it softer. If anyone wants to try the mayonnaise theory and let me know how it works out please feel free!

The way I find best to keep my hair soft and shiny is by using a good shampoo and conditioner but only washing my hair every other day with out rubbing in the shampoo to much otherwise it causes the hair to product more oil, secondly leaving the conditioner on for a few minutes allows the hair follicles to open letting the conditioner sink in. Redken have a range just for softening your hair, which is called Redken all soft I think this is slightly less bizarre then the mayonnaise idea but everyone is different but I know which one I would prefer.

Brushing you hair when it is wet it should never be done only combing as using a brush on wet hair damages it, which leaves it looking, dry and not very healthy. Straightners and other heated styling products can cause hair to dry out if a good heat protector is not used before hand, I know how easy it is to think oh I will just straighten my hair quickly but if heat protection isn't used I look more frizz then soft and shiny. I hope these different ideas on making hair soft shiny and manageable work for you, I find that they work for me, well the one I have tried any way.
