Materials Needed for a Space Marine Halloween Costume
Black long-sleeved shirt
Black pants
Black ski mask
Green rubber boots
White work gloves
PU-foam (canned) 4
Plywood, two sheets
Screws and screwdriver
Handsaw
Knife
Tape measure
Step 1:
Cut 4 pieces of 1/3 a circle, long enough when put together, to allow for room across your entire torso. Screw the three pieces together so that they create a bent hoop for your space marine Halloween costume for the underside of the plate, with the bent ends facing up.
Step 2:
Cut out a full circle from a sheet of plywood as well as a half circle that is wide enough to encompass your shoulders, and then screw the ends together for the top that will go across the shoulders.
Step 3:
Cut two squares large enough for your arms, and place each one with a screw to the uppermost circle, these are the arm holes. Cut 2 ovals for arm holes, and connect them by screw to the ends of the half circle you just cut, then screw them into the uppermost circle.
Step 4:
Use the PU-foam by spraying into the wood skeleton with no gaps remaining when finished. Allow this to dry for 2 hours. Use the knife to cut away until there is room to place your arms through the holes and your body through the skeleton.
Step 5:
Put on all the black clothing, gloves and boots for your space marine Halloween costume. Then place the skeleton on over your head. Masks are optional on these Space Marines Halloween costume but can be purchased at local Halloween stores.
When creating this Space Marines Halloween costume, spackling mud can be used to create a hard outer surface for a heavier costume and more durability. Adding old bed sheets to the outside of the skeleton with a glue gun and then allowing the mud to dry once applied will create the outer appearance if you so choose for your Space Marines Halloween costume.
