This article should be able to answer those questions and more!

1.Update Computer & Virus Scan
If you are using any kind of Window's operating System you will need them kept up to date. This is easily done by going to windowsupdate.microsoft.com, Other ways to update windows on newer version computers is to go to Start Menu, Programs, Window Updates. It is fairly simple to update your window's machine & depending the last time you updated your computer it could take anywhere from 15 minutes to 2 hours.

2. Update Browser
First decide which browser you are using. Update's are easily achieved by going to the correct website for each browser & downloading the latest version. I have compiled a short list of each browser's website. The most common browser I have seen used is Mozilla for Zynga games. This is due to the fact you can set the crash timeout so that your game does not crash on you. It is really up to you and some even claim that Google Chrome works best. I believe it is different which each computer out there considering every computer has different specs such as Video Card; Hard Drive's & so on.

3. Update Adobe Flash
This is where most all problem's come from with Zynga games. They are based on Adobe Flash, Which can cause a lot of problem's if the plug-in is outdated. All you have to do is visit their website at www.adobe.com & click get flash. It should walk you thru what steps you need to take. The process is very quick & easy & best of all if you are already updated it will tell you right off.

4. Clean Computer
This should be done for any game or even internet browsing or basic computer functions. This should be your to do list.

A. Empty Trash
' Right Click Trash Empty '
B. Defrag Hard Drive
'Start Menu, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk Defragmenter 'Versions of Windows Differs in location shouldn't be hard to find.
C. Scan Hard Drive for Errors
'Click My Computer, Right Click C: Drive, Properties, Click Tools, Check Now '
D. Clean Up Startup
'Start Menu, Click Run or Use Search, Type MSCONFIG, Click Start Up tab, Uncheck anything that you think might be slowing down your computer such as Messengers. Be careful when doing this make sure you know what you are disabling!!

5. Clean Browser
What you want to do here is find your browser's settings & clean your cookies, history. This is easily done but instead of going into detailed steps I will recommend a program that will do it quick & effectively it's called CCleaner aka Cookie Cleaner. It's a free program and it quickly cleans your browser settings fast. This program is safe & has no spyware or adware & can be found at http://www.piriform.com/

6. Tweak Browser Settings
One thing a lot of people do not realize is that a lot of the add-on's on their browser can affect the game play of a Zynga game. The easiest way to fix this is go to your browser's settings & find Add-on's or tool bars & disable them 99% of the time you don't use them! If you are using Mozilla Firefox the best tweak you can do is type about:config and then click I promise and locate dom.ipc.plugins.timeoutSecs, Double click it and change the value to -1 . This will make it where your browser will no longer crash & just wait for the game to fully load.

7. Tweak Flash Settings
This is by far the best solution to fix errors on Zynga games. What you do is wait tell the game is loaded and then right click anywhere on the game & click settings. This will bring up Adobe Flash Player Settings. You should see a box that says Display, Enable hardware support. You need to make sure this box is un-check marked. 95% of the time this will cause problem's if left check marked & has fixed many issues such as lagging & full screen not being able to view.

Now click the third tab on the top. This should bring you to Local Storage. Now I personally drag the slider all the way to the right so it can use as much storage space as it needs for the game. I believe this also makes the game run quicker & Frontierville should hardly take any space at all on a hard drive with it being a online game. The other tabs really have nothing to do with Zynga games so you may exit out of the settings.

8. Full Screen Modes
This is by far the best way to speed up any Zynga game & that's by going full screen! Most of the game's have a small button you click on the game that will make it full screen and can be usually found on the right side shaped like a square. If the game does not have full screen make your browser full screen! This can be done by viewing your tab's that pull down & click View Full Screen. Internet Explorer use's the hot key F11. The biggest issue I had with Full Screen mode is it would never stay full screen and the two fixes for that is the flash disable hardware support which is in step seven, And the other one is actually disabling a windows Service called Desktop Windows Session Manager. This can be found under services in control panel then disabled. Not sure exactly 100% what it does but it has fixed my issue & I can use full screen now without it crashing. Research Desktop Windows Session manager on Google or your favorite search engine so far it hasn't hurt my windows at all.

9. Disable Chat
Click Chat, Options, Go Offline. This will stop chat and make you appear offline to everyone. This really help's cause when you are in full screen a chat window can slow down your game play and even crash your game that is open.

10. Worst Case Scenario safe mode.
To me this is the best case scenario really. What you do is restart your computer & when it is loading keep hitting the F8 key on your keyboard. When a list of options appear choose 'Safe Mode With Networking Support 'You must choose with networking support due to the fact you need internet to get online. Once it has loaded & you exit out of the help screen. Load your favorite browser & go to your game & play it. What this does is load your windows with the most basic everything & disables all your startup items. This in return makes your computer super fast. The bad thing's is your sound does not work & sometimes your screen resolution is way big or small, your display can be easily fixed by changing your display resolution though. One big thing I suggest if you do use your game like this only use your game like this. Do not surf the internet or nothing else due to the fact in safe mode your virus programs will not be running to help save your computer. So it can put your computer at risk. Good news is your game run's very smoothly!
