No Easter eggs, chocolate bunnies, or roasted ham
No dyeing eggs or children playing because it's 12am
This poem was assigned a little early
But this was not enough to cease or deter me
You want it now or later it's all the same
I'll do it now because anything conventional is just kinda lame.
My Easter is dark and I am tired
My mind is weary yet inspired
You can have your Easter day with glee and delight
Because all the best things happen at night
