How to Spice Up Your Valentines Day

Get Something Special for the Gamer in Your Life

Rissa Watkins
Is your Valentine a gamer? Then jewelry or other traditional Valentines Day gifts just won't cut it then. You want to give him something romantic for Valentines Day, but you really want him to like what his Valentines Day gift is too. A game would make a perfect Valentines Day gift. It isn't the most romantic choice, but you will be giving your Valentine something he really wants. Just find a different way of giving it to him rather than handing him this impersonal box. Spice things up a little and plan something special for when he comes home from work on Valentines Day. Here are some tips that will add some excitement to your not so exciting Valentines Day gift and will spice up your evening. I used the Play Station Game Final Fantasy for this example.

Turn down the lights and light candles throughout the house. This way as soon as he walks through the door he will know something special is going on and he will be anticipating it.

Make a red heart out of construction paper and on the front write "Valentine" inside write "Play with this first" or "Here's something you can play with right now." Tape it to a Barry White CD because nothing says romance like Barry White. Not a fan? You can substitute your favorite of course, but it has to be romantic. Put the Valentine where he will see it first, either by where he normally puts his keys or even on the front door if there isn't another place.

Put a note on the CD player to follow the signs. A few feet from the player place a bottle of chilled Champagne with a note around it saying "are you ready..."

A few feet away leave a sexy bra on the floor with a note that reads "to experience something you've always wanted...". These notes should be leading him to the bedroom.

A few more feet away in front of the closed bedroom door leave a sexy pair of panties with a note saying "Ready to finally experience your fantasy?" Once he opens the door he will see his Final Fantasy game sitting on the bed surrounded by rose petals.

Want to make it really interesting? Visit an adult store and pick up some harmless items like handcuffs or body oil to leave out with the notes. You could be really cruel and put out two sets of panties so his imagination will really run wild.

Other Play Station games that could work are Resistance: Fall of Man, those handcuffs would work really well with that theme. Not a Play Station fan? X Box's Halo 3 would work really well. Leave a note saying "Ready to go to Heaven". Wii fans can use Guitar Hero. Your notes could read "I can't wait to feel your hands around me" or "We are going to make sweet music together."

Whether you spend the rest of the evening actually playing the game is up to you. Remember your only limit is your imagination. Have fun Valentines Day!

Hmm... I don't know how I would feel in this situation. I'd have a new game, which would be good, but my anticipation would be totally expecting something else. I think I'd be confused. Although, in the end, I think everything would work out. :)

I like spicing things up! Food, romance, intimacy - the spicier the better - hot, hot, hot! Good tips!

Very funny, but I'm not sure if my gamer wouldn't be a little dissapointed.
