How to Make a Spring and Fall Themed Halloween Costume for Couples

This is yet another continuation of my original article titled, "100 different Halloween Costumes for Couples". This article will go over how you can make two costumes from that list. Spring and Fall themed Halloween costumes for couples are definetly a unique choice to pick when you are trying to decide exactly what kind of Halloween costume to dress up as. This article will tell you how to make a Spring and Fall themed Halloween costumes for couples. There are some things that you will need to acquire to complete this Halloween costume. Those things are : 3/4 to 1 inch diameter cotton rope you will need about 75 feet, silver sweat suit, safety pins, silver spray paint,silver face paint, silver gloves,silver stocking cap OR silver colored hair spray,brown sweat suit, brown face paint, brown stocking cap and autumn colored artificial leaves.

First part we are going to make is the Spring part of this costume. For the Spring part of the costume you will need the following from the above list: 3/4 to 1 inch diameter cotton rope you will need about 75 feet, silver sweat suit, silver safety pins, silver spray paint,silver face paint, black face paint,fine paint brush, silver gloves,silver stocking cap OR silver colored hair spray. Once you have these things gathered proceed on with the next step.

SPRING HALLOWEEN COSTUME

1. You will need to take your cotton rope outside into a well ventilated area and use the silver colored spray paint. Spray the entire length of the rope, front and back.Make sure to well saturate the rope entirely. Set aside and let dry.

2. Take your sweat pants, lay them on a table. Now take your silver colored rope. Start at the bottom by the ankle and attach the rope, loosely like a spring that has been stretched, with the safety pin. You will then wrap the rope in a loose circular motion all the way around the entire leg of the pants, so the rope goes completely around the leg front and back. Use the safety pins to attach the rope as needed. Do this up to the band of the pants, then go back down the other leg and end at the ankle. Attach the end with a safety pin. Cut off any excess rope.

3. Take your shirt and start at the bottom band. Attach with a safety pin at the end and wound the rope all the way around the shirt front and back, again loosely like a spring that has been stretched. Attach with safety pins along the way.

4. Continue wounding the rope completely on the shirt and ending with the arms. Once you end at the wristband of the sleeve, attach with a safety pin and cut off any excess.

5. Put on your sweat suit. Use your silver face paint and paint your entire face silver. Take a fine paint brush and the black face paint. Paint fine black spring like circular lines on your face.

6. You can either use the silver stocking cap for your hair or you can get some silver washable hair spray and spray your hair. Put on your silver gloves and now you are officially "Spring"

FALL HALLOWEEN COSTUME

This section we will go over what you will need to make the Fall part of your Halloween costume. You will need to have the following things to make this costume: brown sweat suit, brown, red, and orange face paint, brown gloves, brown stocking cap,safety pins,and autumn colored artificial leaves.

1. Take your brown sweat shirt and start at the bottom of your sweat shirt. You can take the autumn colored artificial leaves and pin them all throughout your sweat shirt in various places. Don't forget to pin them all over your shirt front and back. More leaves need to be on the arms as they are the branches.

2. Take your brown stocking cap and pin more leaves all over it. The leaves should cover the entire stocking cap.

3. Put on your sweat suit. Paint your face with the combination of brown, red and orange face paint to match the leaves. Put on your gloves.

Now you have finished your Fall part of this Halloween costume for couples.
