How Spying on Your Kids Can Actually Help Them

Jenna Sands
Parents have a much harder task today raising their kids with the values and ethics that were the mainstay of families in times past. In today's environments, we have more restrictive guidelines and restrictions on how kids are disciplined. In some cases there is a real need for monitoring how we parent. There has always been abuse such as emotional, mental, physical, and sexual. In these cases, monitoring and guidelines work and keep the majority of kids safe. However, in the absence of these cases, parenting can be restricted to the point that today's kids are less inhibited in their actions. One way parents have to combat this effect is by spying on their kids. I believe that it is not only pertinent but also effective in curtailing risky behavior by minors under their parents care. These are some of the reasons.

You can't be with your kids 24 hours day. So how do you know?

1. Where they are?

2. Whom they are with?

3. What they are doing?

Usually where they are and whom they are with dictates what they are doing. Whom they are with usually dictates what they have in or on them that they are not supposed to have. Kids are to emotionally immature, there brains are not developed enough to make informed decisions.

These are the some of the more important reasons to spy on your kids.

1. Drugs

2. Alcohol

3. Unprotected sex, which leads to STD's and/or Pregnancy.

4. Predators

5. Death

The most important reason of all, YOU LOVE THEM.

I have been writing since I was a kid. I kept writing just to use my imagination. When I got out of the Army I started writing seriously and I have loved every minute of it.  View profile
