How to Start a Iced Tea Stand Business for Profit

SDR2010
If you are a child then summer is already probably the best time of the year for you because of the fact that you get to relax and take some time off of school which is nice but something else that summer is great for is finding time to make a little extra money for yourself so that you can buy some extra candy for lunch when you head back to school. The best way that you can do this is to sell iced tea because of the high temperatures in the summer, which will make people more willing to buy a drink off of you. I have helped my nephew set up a stand and he has made $300 in a month by following some simple steps:

Head to the store and pick up some iced tea mix and several bags of ice along with some cups. I purchased the Lipton iced tea because my nephew loves it and I also find it to have the best pure iced tea taste. If you would like to buy it online you can do so here but I found it for $9 at Wal-mart.

Once you get these things you will want to find a location that is best for selling tea. You should pick a place, which is close to home and also has a lot of people passing by so that people will see you sitting at the table. Place the tablecloth over your table so that it gives the look of cleanliness, which will sell more tea. Place the tea on the table in a covered pitcher along side the bucket of ice. You should keep the tea covered so that it tastes and looks fresh when you pour it for each person.

Make a sign that drivers can see while they are passing by which means you will need to use big letters saying you have fresh tea for just .50 which will net you a large amount of profit at the end of the day.

When someone comes up to your table and would like some tea you should pour it into the cup after placing ice into the cup. You can then collect the money and give the person the proper change.

Cover up the tea every time that you have finished serving because if they tea is exposed to too much air you will find the taste and quality goes down which will mean less sales for you.
