I will go over four ways for you to make money on eBay. I suggest you read over all of these and determine which one works for you. But before we move on, lets just make sure you have the right paperwork in order. You will first need to get a business license, second you will need business bank account, resale license, tax ID and of course a registered eBay account! eBay account is free to register!
1. Some people sell items for other people to earn money on eBay. These people charge a certain percentage for the service. The benefit is that you do not need to spend money on the inventory so it is very low investment and you can make profits. The commission and profit may not be too large, but it is a very low risk.
2. Another way is to find real wholesaler and resell new inventory. However, you should be careful with a lot of Internet advertised wholesaler. A lot of them are a middleman! I was burned a few times and wasted a lot of money, so make sure you are careful! Side note: The shopping type mall setting stores do not work. The only way you will make profit online is to get in touch with the real wholesalers. One database that is worth its money is Worldwide Brands OneSource Database their database really connect you with true wholesalers. But of course, the only way for you to make money is to learn how to find profitable products!
3. Another way to make money on eBay is to sell digital products. Products such as eBooks. The benefit is that you have unlimited supply of inventory and after your initial purchase you can resale that ebook over and over. Another benefit is that you do not have any shipping and handling fees. But on the other hand eBooks you can only make $2 on and you may accrue more listing fees. However, there are lot of people making money this way.
4. How about getting a percentage of eBay profits? Yes, there is a way for you to get a percentage of eBay profits! This however, does require you to have some training on how to promote a website. But again, another way to make money without any real investment! Also, there is no shipping and handling and you do not deal with customers at all.
Of course, all this information is free and if you are serious about starting your own eBay business, this should set you on the right track! You should also know, that none of these ways are easy. It does require work in order for them to be profitable! However, the expenses for starting any of these are not over $800 dollars. In most cases it is between $300-500 mainly start up cost!
