Using your own name for your business can work as long as it is unique. You want your business name to catch the attention of your buyers. When choosing a business name other than your name, you may need to seek an attorney, although it is not always necessary. Your attorney will know all the necessary requirements you will need in owning the rights to your business name. Go online to your state's secretary of state office for all the information you need pertaining a business name.

You will be required to send a check with the form for any sales tax you have collected from your consumers. To get your resale tax number go to your state's department of revenue, you can find it online or in your phone book under the government section.
4) Business Bank Account
The IRS (Internal Revenue Service) requires you to have a separate business account, separating your personal bank account from your business account. This allows you to separate your personal and business income and expenses.
