How to Start a Rap Recording Studio for Under $20
If you are a rap artist or hip hop artist in the making, this might help you. When I started out recording for friends that loved to rap, I made a ghetto studio. The first thing I needed was a quiet room, and my room seemed good enough. The next thing on the list was a computer with Internet. Use the Internet and download lime wire or frost wire, and then once you have that search for cool edit pro, and download that too. Cool Edit Pro is a nice program to use or just download any free sound editing program. Then you will need, of course, a microphone. My best bet is to go to Radio shack or buy a cheap computer Mic from $10 to $20. They may not be the best but upgrade as you make money. You will also need a cheap pair of headphones to cancel the instrumental from getting into the microphone. After that you will need a pop filter, which can be made with panty hose and a metal hanger, just shape the metal hanger into a O and wrap the pany ho around it and you have yourself a ghetto pop filter, works great.
When you have all this done, then you got your self a Ghetto Recording Studio. This is good for starters and will help you learn slowly how everything works in the music rap industry. Thanks for reading.
