Tiffany Bell
With the hard economic times upon up this Christmas season, it is really important that people stay on their budgets with Christmas shopping. Some people may think that you have to spend a lot of money to give a good Christmas gift to someone, but that is not the case at all. There are plenty of great Christmas gifts for under $10 that people on your Christmas shopping list will love. Think about how much money you can save this Christmas season by actually staying on your budget and only spending $10 on each Christmas gift. Remember, it is never about how much money you spend on a Christmas gift, but the fact that you took the time out to buy them a gift and show them how much you are about them.

Here are some wonderful Christmas gifts that you can find for under $10.

DVDs

Visit places like Wal-Mart and Best Buy and you can find tons of DVDs for under $10. Many times Wal-Mart will have special displays of DVDs that are only $5 and during Christmas sometimes, those prices go even lower. You may have to spend some time looking through the DVDs to find ones that people on your Christmas list will like, but it is definitely doable. Most people would love getting 2 new DVDs for a Christmas gift.

Christmas Mug With Candy or Hot Chocolate

Christmas mugs are rather inexpensive and can be found for under $10 at many places. Fill the Christmas mug with some small candies or a couple packets of hot chocolate. You can lower the price of this Christmas gift, by using the box of hot chocolate on several different gifts for people, and the same for the candy.

Journal

A journal makes a good Christmas gift for a daughter, best friend, niece, sister and mom. To make the journal extra special, write an inscription on the first page of the journal. It could be something simple or let your true emotions out and tell this person how much you appreciate them.

Christmas ornament

Believe it or not there are plenty of Christmas ornaments sold for under $10. You just have to know where to look. Check out your local craft fairs, discount stores, and even dollar stores for beautiful Christmas ornaments. Make this Christmas gift extra-special by buying a Christmas ornament that is unique to each person. Try to find a Christmas ornament that pertains to the person's interest, profession, style or hobbies.

Homemade Cookies and Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Making your own homemade cookies and chocolate covered pretzels is a great way to give a Christmas gift for under $10. You can choose one of your favorite cookie recipes such as sugar cookies, gingerbread cookies, or butter cookies and make up a few batches of them. Decorate the cookies and wrap them up in plastic wrap and tie with a simple Christmas ribbon. If you split the cost of what it takes to make the cookies and the wrap them, it will be under $10 a person. Give each person around a dozen cookies and it makes a great Christmas gift. Or, if you rather not bake, try some chocolate covered pretzels. These are really simple to make and are very inexpensive. Melt down some chocolate bark or chocolate chips and dip some pretzel rods or pretzel twists into the melted chocolate. If you want you can even ad some sprinkles or candies to the chocolate covered pretzels. Wrap them up and give them for tasty Christmas gifts.

Some other simple Christmas gifts that are under $10 may include:

key chains

makeup

scarves

popcorn tins

gift cards

CDs

books

address book

puzzles

socks

slippers

photo frame

chocolates

candle

calendar

stationary set

flashlight

So, this Christmas don't worry about blowing your budget, but instead use some of these suggestions listed for a Christmas gift under $10.
