How to Stop Eye Wrinkles

The skin around the eye area is much more delicate than the skin on the rest of the body, it is thinner and it loses its elasticity much more quickly than other places, so it is the first place that begins to sag with age.

There are a couple of things that you can do to help ensure that your eyelids stay firmer for longer.

Exercise 1.

Step 1: Look in the mirror, place your index fingers horizontally underneath your eyebrows.

Step 2: Push your eyebrows up with your fingers and hold them against the browbone.

Step 3: Close your eyelids slowly, you will be able to feel it pulling but if it hurts then stop and lower your fingers slightly.

Step 4: squeeze your eyelids tightly together, hold for 5 seconds and open your eyes slowly and release your fingers from your eyebrows.

Repeat 10 times.

Exercise 2.

Step 1: Look into a mirror, place the index fingers of either hand next to each eye.

Step 2: Gently close your eyes, pull the skin near the eyes outwards (gently!)

Step 3: Squeeze your eyes shut, keeping the skin at the sides of your eyes taut, hold for 5 seconds, release slowly.

Repeat 10 times.

Also, keep the skin hydrated I think is a good way to reduce and prevent wrinkles. Great tips. I am trying out these exercises now!

I was just complaining to my mother-in-law that I was starting to see these damn things. Thanks for the tip.
