How to Straighten Those Curls Out: Options for Straightening Hair
With so Many Options, Which One is the Most Effective for You?
In the days of the straightening comb, there were not many other options to get the sleek look of straightened hair. In today's society, all around the globe, women are working on straightening their hair and locating the best products to use. Let's take a look at just a few main products that are being used to help us in our endeavor.
First off, we have chemicals products that straighten hair. Depending on how much time you want to conserve while doing your hair this may be an option. There are several different types, make sure you are buying the right kind that will work for your hair. For instance, if you have brittle, delicate, thin hair then choose a chemical straightener that is milder.
Then we have the flat iron. A flat iron is a fantastic idea and a great way to save money on salon treatments. However, this may take some time, depending on the thickness of your hair and the amount of fuss your hair will give you. There are several types of flat irons to choose from that can get as hot as almost 500 degrees one must be careful you don't burn yourself or leave it on the countertop left on. Again, depending on your hair type will depend on what setting you will need it to be. For thinner hair, try the lowest setting first, for medium to thick hair gradually increasing the temperature to avoid damaging hair is the best way to get the results you desire without harming your hair. Keep in mind, on more humid or rainy days, your frizz may come back. They also have created an on the go flat iron for quick fixes.
There are several serums, shampoos, and other hair products you can combine when straightening your hair. Finding the right product can be time consuming. If your hair is light than purchase a lighter serum and do not use to much as this will weigh your hair down and take away from its volume. For thicker, fuller hair, probably a medium dense serum would be right.
Now with all the choices in allowing you to straighten your curls out, there is a way you can get what you want out of your hair. The difference of how straight it can be is in the products you choose. Experiment a bit, and you will find what you are looking for, for sexy looking, frizz free, shiny, straightened hair.
