How to Strategize in Paintball Games

Most team sports players would know that cooperation, coordination, strategizing and teamwork is crucial in winning a match. All these can be seen in well known and beloved team sports such as soccer, netball and basketball. It is no different for paintball, where the exact same combination can be employed to champion the game.

For novice teams just starting out, bear in mind that a god grasp of both team and individual playing skill is important. You need to know how, and when to attack or defend so that you will come out tops in any game. Hence, members should be rotated and not fixedly designated to one position. That way, if one member is down, the rest can cover his duties and not be hampered in any way.

Paintball is called a war game because it parallels the battlefield. The props make hiding easy, the trenches designed for blocking enemy fire, and more. These are the basic props in a paintball game. If you want, you can increase your defense by building forts or blocks to save yourselves from enemy paintballs. If you like, you can even record down your game so that you can review it in detail, picking out errors and correcting them.

Exercise can-and must-be conducted so that the team can put theory into practice. You may also invite other teams for friendly matches so that both of you can practice-it is a win-win situation where all can benefit.

Paintball is won through a number of ways, notably by capturing the enemy's flag, or by eliminating all the enemy players. There is also a time limit for without it the game could go on for ages. If the time limit is up, then the team with the least loss is declared the winner.

Training for accuracy in aiming is a good way to improve your shooting skills, called marksmanship. This will help you to lose less paintballs and save energy, as firing aimlessly is useless. You only have a precious limited amount of paintballs available so accuracy is crucial. A paintball game usually ends after 30mins or one hour so every shot must be calculated and planned.

You should also practice stealth moves like whispering, hand signals, and leopard-crawling to avoid enemy detection. If you can take the enemy unawares, then your have the upper hand in the game already.

Should you choose to communicate via hand signals, bear in mind that the enemy team may have the same signals, so do be innovative and change your signals frequently.

With practice and much hard work, you will find that paintball pays off tremendously, rewarding you with skill, fun and even medals!
