How Stress Can Be Beneficial? It is for Gold

Gold Has to Go Through a Stressful Process Before Its Worth is Recognized

Myra Smith
Stress is something that comes with life. If people would only realize that life itself is totally out of their control they would learn to respond more differently when problems arise. Heartaches, pains, sorrow, sadness, bitterness, none of these emotions and feelings are going to fade away. Believe it or not it is these emotions that build our strength and character. How would you ever know how to deal with struggle if you never struggle? How would you know how to deal with pain if you never hurt? How would you know how to deal with heartache if your heart has never been broken. How would you know how to take on life's challenges if you're life has never been challenged.

Everything that seems bad isn't necessarily bad for you. There's a lesson in everything you just have to be smart enough to grasp it, learn from it, move on from it, and teach the next person. A lot of things that we go through aren't necessarily for us. For instance: I had a hard life growing up. I've been in several foster homes and have experienced child abuse and neglect. At the time when I was going through all of this I thought it was because I was a bad person. I felt like God was punishing me but little did I know he was grooming me and teaching me. I was in a learning process to become the woman that I am today. The woman who reaches out to thousands of children and teens who have been through and are going through what I've been through. I am now an inspiration to them, proof that pain can be turned into power. I could have let my hard comings destroy my life, but I choose to use them as a weapon for good. So now I look at problems and troubles from a whole other prospective.

Gold has to go through a horrendous process before it is of any value to anyone. It has to be crushed, beaten, crumbled, tossed, and then eventually transformed before its worth is recognized. A lot of people who in your eyes lead a life that might seem worthless, are really the people who's worth has not yet been recognized because they are still in the transformation process. They themselves do not have a clue of their own worth. A lot of people who you know who may always seem to be troubled, down, going through agony, etc... those are the people who are harder to understand, especially if they always seem to get knocked down but never stay down. You wonder how do they do it? What drives them? Aren't they going too eventually loose their mind? Trust me, they wonder the same thing but somehow they always manage to stay strong and pull through. Eventually becoming great leaders of inspiration, advisors, teachers, directors, and living testimonies.

So the next time hard trials come your way don't get stressed out, look at them as an opportunity to learn something that is going to help you excel to the next level, getting you one more step closer to your destiny. There is no blessing in stressing. There can be a blessing from your messing.
