How to Have a Stress Free Wedding in 2007 (Part II)

The principle concepts behind weddings are more than meets the eye. The specifics of a wedding and all the details that go into planning and preparing for the big day can wreck havoc on a woman's emotional state. Part II of this article gives additional tips on having a wedding free of stress.

Remember Whose Wedding It Is: Many brides let the influence of others (family members, friends, random neighbors) dictate how their wedding should be, and that translates into all sorts of horrors that are long lasting. Only the bride and the groom should have input on such matters as music, location or the honeymoon. It is okay to listen because people can share very creative and interesting ideas. Ultimately, you are responsible for your day and no one else should be blamed for the outcome of your wedding. During the course of event planning you will hear a lot of "I know a good DJ that would be perfect for your wedding," or "You should buy your dress from this boutique." Write it down, smile politely, but use your instincts and find the most professional people to participate in your wedding. Trust me.

Two Items: The Dress and The Ring: What can I say ladies? Out of all the many, many topics that brides mull over in their discussion of wedding details, this one always stands out the most and for a good reason: A bride wants to be the most beautiful woman in the world on her wedding day. So to do this, she must choose the perfect wedding gown. Selecting the perfect wedding gown for you can be fun at first, but definitely tense unless you have someone like Vera Wang to style you personally. Basically, finding the dress is only the first hurdle unless it's a perfect fit. If not, be prepared for fittings, nips, tucks, etc. Your wedding dress should have the right comfort level (which basically means room to breathe), reasonable length (so that you can glide without tripping, and the right shoes to go with the dress. Please go to the restroom or do any other required tasks (hair, makeup, eating, etc) before you are helped into your gown.

The wedding ring is another item on the list of wedding treasures that women find particularly essential when getting married. On your wedding day, be sure that a dependable person has the rings and know where your belongings are at all times.

Pamper Yourself. This event causes for a bit of extra pampering. Make an appointment with a spa establishment and get the works. You (and the groom) can feel appreciated together. Getting a makeover and shopping can be included in this pamper spree. Buy some sexy lingerie for the honeymoon or find new makeup to give you a new look.

Photography: The wedding day should be a time that both the bride and groom will never forget. Capturing beautiful moments on camera needs more than an average digital camera. This is why hiring a professional photographer for your wedding ceremony should be apart of the planning process. Check the photographer's references and work portfolios to judge if he or she is the best for the position. In days such as this, people want their wedding photo album to be unique and reflective of their personalities. Do not be afraid to voice your opinions and get the service you deserve.

Your 2007 wedding is sure to be stress free with a little help from this article. Be mindful of all the elements that go into weddings but do not let it give you worries. There is nothing wrong with asking for help, but make sure those around you are dependable, calm, and competent. Most of all remember to have fun with your soon to be life partner. Enjoy your wedding!
