How to Strike Balance in Business - for Women Entrepreneurs

CarolinaD
It's not just about simply being able to juggle

work and life, or making time for family, friends

and hobbies. It's the ability to strike harmony in

any areas of their lives; from what they love to

how they dress, to how they spend their time and

lives.

What's the secret behind the success of the fresh

crop of women entrepreneurs? Knowing that they can

do it all, be it all - and enjoy it all, too,

there are a few things they'll need to consider:

clarity of your business, a planner, scheduling

strategy, a list of the things you love to do, be

willing to learn, start planning

Keep Everything On a List - Nearly every

entrepreneur woman mentions list making as their

number one secret to keeping balanced in all they

do.

Keeping track of everything from group meetings

and YouTube/blog posting, to the favorite daily

vitamins and tele-class attendance, tracking all

personal appointments in your day planner, it's

very helpful.

Personal style preference is an option of course,

every one can choose; if it's the electronic

Blackberry that works better for you, use what's

most helpful for your lifestyle.

Be Yourself! Some entrepreneur are known for their

fantastic taste of fashion, as they are for their

business success. Be great at what you do in

business, but also be yourself.

Clearly, as much as we wish, we can't always go

the designer route; however, sometimes it's nice

to go different ways. You can look for bargains,

no matter if you are a successful business woman,

it's nothing wrong to get to the bargain corner!

Learn To Rotate: The modern women entrepreneurs

know that balancing business, life, love and other

all elements in their lives is a lot like playing

any sports. Sometimes, you have to sprint, other

times you'll jog, and then are days where you have

to rest on the bench. Seeing time in hours, but

not days, it helps you slate what you need from

there.

It might be that you have certain areas in your life under control and in balance, like your check book and your diet, errands, house chores; but you constantly have to balance your schedule.

Focus On Doing IT: Make it a point to do what you

love to be doing. Whether it is a yoga class,

arts, painting, fitness training, playing with

your children, walking your pet, volunteer some

hours, or working out, YOU schedule it with the

same importance as you do the business things.
That will keep your priorities in order!

To sum this up, I will say - setting weekly and daily goals is a very important factor in leading a healthy and happy life. When you don't prioritize, you go around in circles and don't get much of anything done! The more prepared and organized you are, the better your chances are of succeeding.
