1. To Begin, click "Publish" at the top right of your screen. This will take you to the basic audio submission page. Click "Audio" on one of the four tabs on the left of your screen and you will be taken to the audio submission page.
Remember that types of audio content accepted are: .MP3, .WAV, .WMA, .RM, or .AIFF. If your file is not one of these file types, try to look online for an mp3 or wav converter so that you will be able to submit your audio content. Also remember that audio content is limited to a 15mb file size.
2. Audio submissions are not eligible for Upfront Payments, but are eligible for Performance Payments. You may find that your audio content gets as much or more views than your text files. Promoting your audio content is relatively easy compared to text content, as associated content does not allow much text after your audio submission.
3. Getting hits on your audio content will rely on your ability to use keywords and keyphrases. Since audio content does not carry the block of keywords that text content does, it is all the more important to use simple and precise keywords and keyphrases. The few ways to promote your audio submission through associated content are: Search tags, categories, captions, title and even sometimes subtitle. You can promote your audio content through the use of categories by selecting the category that most closely fits your audio content and keywords. Your keywords should align with the audio you have provided. If you audio submission is about books, then a "Books" category would be your best option. Your search tags, captions, title and subtitle should all align with eachother and the category you have selected. If you category is about books, then your audio content should be tagged with tag phrases about books, a simple and precise title about books, and a caption with some keywords in your tagged phrases. You'll find that over time you get a better understanding on how to align all of these elements and promote your content more efficiently.
4. Captions work similar to the way that text does. You caption should be as short as possible while still enticing the listener to hear your content. Try to include some key phrases in your caption as well.
5. As with any content submission, make sure your sources and credit are properly cited.
