We've all been in one. Boring meetings. Whether it is at work, church, or some other place boring meetings seem like a part of everyone's life. Well you may have to sit through them but you don't have to be bored out of your mind during it. There are lots of things you can do to make the time pass by. Here are a few examples of things you can do.

Bring a notepad an make lists. This could include everything from making your grocery lists for shopping to making a to-do list for the day. Whatever the need, use this time to organize some aspect of your life that is more important to you than your meeting. Make sure to do this discretely as you don't want your coworkers or your boss to think you are doing something outside of what your supposed to be doing. Other examples of list you could make include: Christmas List, Bills to Pay or your schedule for the day. Whatever the case, take advantage of this time.

Spend your time daydreaming. You can go into your own little world and think about whatever you want to. Send your time daydreaming about what you will do when you get off from work. Think about the weekend and what you will spend your time doing. Reminisce on a time when you were doing something you really enjoyed like a vacation or a night out. Or if all else fails, think about nothing. Just let your mind wander and relax!

You might consider getting in a quick nap. Be careful with this one. Make sure that you are either not going to get caught or you are not going to get in trouble. If you can pull this one off you will have time to revive your body. This will be especially good if you have a meeting before work in the morning. Your power nap may be just what you need to get through the day.

Finish unfinished work. If you have the opportunity finish paperwork or other work that needs to get done. Meetings can be a great time to catch up on work that has been hanging over your head. You can complete such work without looking obviously bored. Simply occasionally look down at your work and then occasionally look back up at the person speaking.

Finally don't forget the basics. Keep something to drink with you if possible. Get up occasionally to stretch and take breaks. Don't forget to make your bathroom runs as needed. In the end you may not be able to get out of your meeting, but you may be able your meeting a little more bearable!
