How to Be Sweet to Your Girlfriend

Many guys are in a relationship that they really enjoy. Then all the sudden they are hit with screams of, "You never love me" or "You don't even care about us". Even though in reality it is quite the opposite. The truth is that many guys have trouble expressing their love for their girlfriend. They may be shy or discreet about their emotions. Well, girls really don't care about that. They like to be reassured constantly, the next thing that they want besides you knowing how they feel is how you feel. A relationshp thrives on those awww moments that guys always try to keep on the down low, lest it diminishes their 'macho' reputation. There will be several opportunities for you to make a move and 'awww' her. Many of these tips can go both ways too. Sadly, guys are easily manipulated.

Never stop flirting with her. The guys at her work, gym, and school won't. If she feels that you are no longer interested and everyone else around her is. Then she will simply move on and forget about you, leaving you confused and flying solo. Too many guys assume that once they 'got the girl' that the flirting is over, or it just dies away as the relationship progresses. If you want to keep the spark sparking, then keep flirting with her and the two of you will always be having fun.

Celebrate anniversaries. Definately celebrate the annual ones, but also celebrate the six month ones too. If you would like to you can also celebrate the monthly ones. If you celebrate the week anniversary, you might come on a little strong. What should you celebrate? It is really up to you, it doesn't have to be a formal celebration either. Just an aknowledgement of your relationship progressing. First dates, first kisses, first I love yous and first intimacies can all be celebrated. Although I would advise you to be careful on how often you celebrate. Once a month is good enough. What celebrating anniversaries does is give you an excuse to be romantic. Take her to a fancy dinner. If you have been dating her long enough for an anniversarie you should know how to be romantic towards her. Most of the time, the trouble is not how to be romantic, but finding a reason to be.

Do this for me because you love me. This is commonly viewed as a poor girlfriend trait. It is not that bad if she does it rarely. Plus, it gives you a chance for some great one liners. Say she asks you to get you a glass of water because you love her. Go get it for her, but before you give it to her, tell her you got her the water because she loves you. This will make her feel good. Then ask her to kiss you because she loves you. I mean, after all, you do deserve something for getting her water. Be playful about it. Good morning and Good night. If the two of you don't live together, be sure to say good morning and good night to her as much as possible. It can become a sweet little ritual between the two of you and it will bring you two closer together. If she asks why you want to do this. Tell her its because you want to be the first thing on her mind when she wakes up, and the last thing when she falls asleep.

Compliment her. I don't mean sit there and call her hott and sexy all day. One tip is to alphabetize your compliments. Beautiful, hott, pretty, sexy. Take her out to a nice dinner. When you see her tell her she looks beautiful. It will set the mood for the night. Later you can compliment her her eyes, hair, or face with either hott or pretty. It just depends on the mood and the girl you are with. When the date is winding down you can tell her she looked really sexy in her outfit. It will seem as if you are reflecting on the date and that you enjoyed it. If your trying to be sweet on her, don't try to force any sleep overs. However, if she offers, don't decline as she will more likely feel insulted. Unless, you have a really good reason. Like you really do have a 6a.m. flight the next morning.

Do these jeans make me look fat. All she is doing here is soliciting a compliment. Go with it this once, because she asked the question so you can't ignore it. She will know if you do, but make it clear to her that you don't appreciate her doing that, and that you do compliment her and give her attention. If she wants more, this is the wrong way of going about it. This can get very annoying very fast, and most likely if you really care about the girl, compliments will come easy.

Write her a letter. It doesnt have to sound like some french poet wrote it. It just has to be sincere. It is really as simple as that. She will appreciate the time and effort you put into it.

Prioritize. If you can't put her high on your list of priorities. Then don't bother. If she doesn't feel important to you, then you wont feel important to her. If she realizes that you are putting her before other things in your life, she will be sure to return the favor. Really all it takes it a little bit of creativity and awareness and you can be romantic as much as you like. There are tons more opportunities than given here, and most of them are just as good. Once you are comfertable with her being sweet and romantic should be as easy as breathing. However, you do not want it to be as frequent as breathing. This will cause all your kindness to sound insincere and she will mistake actual care and attention as an act.
