It's Charming and Enjoyable to Have a Small Library with Collections of Books at Your Own Home

First, you need to have easy access to the books so they will be handy to you at any time you need them.

Books are very heavy. Thus, you should have a good sturdy library with an appropriate thickness and adequate strength.

Usually it is good to organize them by subject and then by height for neat appearance.

Keep a space for future books that you would want to add rather than cram them too tightly together on the shelves or use force which can loose and damage the bindings.

Use bookmark instead of dog-ear the pages or lays them facedown. As well, I stopped to use paper clips as it wrinkles the pages.

Stack upright the large and heavy books in bottom shelves for safety and convenient.

Don't write in your books or store them near heat or humidity. Mold can wrinkle pages, which is the worst enemy of books. To keep mold away use a dehumidifier and ventilation for air circulation.

Leather books should be away from sunlight. Oil damage leader so do not use oil. It is enough to clean it with soft cloth.

Have fun reading time.
