How to Use Talkster.com For Free Long Distance and International Phone Calls
"Call from Any Landline or Mobile Phone. No Registration, No Credit Cards, No Catches, No Limits."
Talkster users don't have to put a credit card up and Talkster doesn't ask for a money deposit. And Talkster has no sign up or annual fee. So how does Talkster.com make it's money? Advertising. When you place a call, before you start talking to the person on the other end Talkster.com plays a 10 second advertiser's message. That's it. Then your connected and you talk as long as you want. Make another call later on and you'll here a different 10 second ad before your connected. So free at Talkster.com does mean free.
Now for how long those audio ads will be limited to a 10 second duration Talkster.com isn't saying but for now Talkster.com is heaven sent for those who make a lot of long distance and international calls.
Here's how I enrolled and you can you enroll and use Talkster.com.
Go to the www.talkster.com. home page. Fill out the short form called "Get Your Free Talkster Numbers Now". Tell Talkster.com your name and number and the name and the phone number of the friend you want to call. You'll do this only once for each friend you want to add.
Enter the form information. Talkster will assign you a new Talkster phone number and assign a new Talkster phone number to your friend (and each additional friend you ad to the Talkster system). Talkster says, "That new phone number is yours to use forever. Save it in the address book on your phone. Whenever you want to talk to your friend, dial the new local Talkster number for that friend instead of the old long distance or international number."
When you call your friend, use their new Talkster number. That's it. Your done. Talk to you friend as long as you want.
Talkster.com also has features that allow users to see just which countries are in the network. For example you can call your business partner in China now with Talkster. The voice quality I experienced was very clear. No different that when I used my cell phone normally on my Verizon network. You can use Talkster on any phone and on any network.

Post a CommentI've used it and it works for some numbers. Also I called someone in Canada and, when trying to call someone somewhere else with the other number I was giving, it was still redirected to Canada... The system is glitchy. I stopped using it and went with Skype and Worldnumbers. Much better technology.
